Golf is a popular way to spend a few hours in the great outdoors, and plenty of Crownsville locals say that Eisenhower Golf Course is the place to play. The course itself was built in 1969 and offers 18 holes at a 70/71 par; it's also certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary, which means that you'll be surrounded by beautiful, natural landscapes along the fairway.
This course has a reputation for being a standout practice facility, with a state-of-the-art synthetic tee line on the driving range and a practice green that's popular with players who want to improve both their putting and chipping. The on-site clubhouse houses both the pro shop and a restaurant that serves quick, casual meals, and it can be a nice place to relax and swap stories after your game. Tee times are available seven days a week and can be booked online in a matter of minutes.
