Giolitti Delicatessen has roots in late 19th-century Rome, when the Giolitti family debuted their first latteria—a small store that stocked only dairy products, like milk and cheese. More more than a century later, Mary Giolitti carries on her ancestors' legacy by offering a larger, but equally authentic assortment of Italian groceries and deli fare.
Stop by the bakery and pick up a loaf of rosemary focaccia bread. Swing by the wine department to find an assortment of vino from some of Italy's top wineries. Grab classic meats, cheeses, and pasta to enjoy at home. You can also swing by the deli to snag some prepared food, from the simple Caprese sandwich and meatball sub to the fully loaded Italian sandwich, stuffed with Genoa salami, capicola, mortadella, and provolone, plus lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers, and house dressing.
