Social Distancing Meets Seasonal Cheer at Lights on the Bay

You might think that holiday fun and social distancing are going to be hard to mix this year, but there’s one event that you certainly don’t have to skip to stay safe. Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park is a drive-through lights display that you can enjoy with your family without even having to think about your mask. Just get cozy with your favorite hot drink and holiday music as you wind through the park to enjoy 60+ dazzling displays and the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay at night.

Lights on the Bay is open nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with hours of operation through the new year. You can visit early to get in the holiday spirit, or even on one of the major holidays as a cheerful way to cap off your night. Lights on the Bay is just $20 per carload, and also includes an interactive experience with the help of 3D glasses (available for purchase as well). Don’t miss this yearly tradition!
